Cambridgeshire County Counci(CCC) is now consulting on issues for a new transport strategy for Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire.

Growth is being planned and we need to explore how best to accommodate this while improving accessibility and reducing congestion. The consultation document below highlights some of the main issues and challenges for transport in the area and seeks views on what approach CC should take in developing a new transport strategy over the coming decades.

It is hoped to bring together arguments concerning these proposalsand their potential impact on the life of Comberton for presentation to CCC. More news here and in Contact .
You can and should write to Cambridge County Council and your CCC Councillor, Fiona Whelan , about these proposals but the formal CCC comment systems is available here. If you were to send a copy of your comments to the Clerk of the Parish Council it would be much appreciated.
